- Tim, the "Fire Dragon Master" mentioned in the Fire Boost description may be a reference to "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". Tim was a wizard who liked to play with fire and blow things up.
- On December 21, 2012, the Fire Boost was decorated with Christmas decorations for a limited time.
- On February 1, 2013, the Christmas decorations on the Fire Boost were removed.
