The Lightning Dragon is the fifth primary dragon in the game. It is available in the market for 75,000.
Alternatively, the Lightning Dragon can be bred by selecting either a Lightning Dragon or a Water Dragon to mate with a Plasma Dragon/Current Dragon, in either order, at the Breeding Cave/Epic Breeding Island.
The Lightning Dragon is unable to breed directly with the Water Dragon.

Notes
- The Lightning Dragon was released when the game was released, on September 14, 2011.
- There is no push notification for the completed breeding or egg incubation of the Lightning Dragon. This feature is shared with any dragon whose breeding times and incubation times are thirty minutes or fewer.
- Initially, the Lightning Dragon was available at level 11, but the level availability was changed on October 9, 2013, to level 12.
