Breeding
The Plasma Dragon can be bred by selecting a Lightning Dragon to mate with a water hybrid dragon, in either order, at the Breeding Cave/Epic Breeding Island.
Breeding Opposites
Breeding a Lightning Dragon with Current Dragon or Plasma Dragon will only result in a Lightning Dragon or Water Dragon.

Notes
- The Plasma Dragon was released alongside the Butterfly Dragon and the Current Dragon on May 9, 2012.
- The Plasma Dragon is a re-coloration of the Lightning Dragon except for a barbel on its chin, and the fins behind the horns, which are features of the Water Dragon.
- The Plasma Dragon, like all the other Opposite Dragons, cannot be positively affected by a boost as Lightning and Water are opposite elements.
- The Plasma Dragon's description may refer to Benjamin Franklin and his storied experiment with lighting when it states "Years ago the brilliant wizard Franklin Dogood was caught in a terrible storm when a bolt of lightning struck..."
- Silence Dogood was one of Benjamin Franklin's pen names.
- On December 19, 2012, all of the Opposite Dragons disappeared from the market.
- All of them reappeared in the market on January 14, 2013, when the Bring 'Em Back! event ended.
