Game Description
The Pylon of Perennial Growth is rumored to have inspired gravitational magic. The Principa Magica says that Ysak Twenon, a renowned expert in kinetic magic, happened to be seated under the pylon when the mysterious ever-growing tree dropped a vine on his head. The bump to the noggin was exactly what Ysak needed to finalize his theory of gravitational magic. Eureka!

Possible References

  • The Pylon of Perennial Growth's description contains several references to Sir Isaac Newton:
    • Ysak Twenon's inspiration under the Pylon of Perennial Growth, attributed to a vine-induced revelation, bears resemblance to the well-known tale of Sir Isaac Newton's contemplation of gravity, symbolized by an apple falling from a tree, though the latter is considered more of a figurative illustration than a precise historical occurrence.
    • The name "Ysak Twenon" sounds similar to "Isaac Newton."
    • The "Principa Magica" resembles Sir Isaac Newton's work titled Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (Latin for "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy"), often referred to as the "Principia." Newton's "Principia" laid out the laws of motion and the universal law of gravitation, revolutionizing the understanding of physics and celestial mechanics.
  • "Eureka" is a term famously attributed to the ancient Greek mathematician and scientist Archimedes. Archimedes reportedly exclaimed "Eureka!" (Greek for "I have found it!") when he discovered a method to determine the purity of a gold crown.
