Game Description
The quicksilver dragon has a mercurial personality, often going from playful to pugnacious for no apparent reason. Despite their great bulk, they are deft swimmers -- although most of the time they float at the surface waiting for their next meal to swim by. While tending a Water Habitat, a 'log' turned out to be a hungry Quicksilver Hatchling and a young wizard inadvertently invented a "Run on Water" spell.

Breeding

The Quicksilver Dragon can be bred by using any two dragons, in either order, containing the Metal and Water elements at any Breeding Cave.

Possible References

  • The game description's use of the word "mercurial" is likely a reference to the fact that quicksilver is another word for the element mercury.
  • The goal completion text for hatching a Quicksilver Dragon references the phrase "mad as a hatter". This is relevant to the Quicksilver Dragon as the origin of this phrase is that mercury/quicksilver was at one time used in the production of felt hats, and poisoning from the toxic metal accumulating in their bodies would often turn the workers insane.
    • Its quest name, "Mercurial Madness", also references this.
