Game Description
Near the Mines of Dramoria, the Bessemer Wastes are home to the often overlooked scoria dragons. They are so overlooked, in fact, that our wizards accidentally classified them as the wrong type of dragon. Ooops. In their later years, scoria dragons grow rocklike scales on their back, but don't let their appearance fool you; they're still fast as can be when racing other dragons.

Breeding

The Scoria Dragon can be bred by using any two dragons, in either order, containing the Earth and Metal elements at any Breeding Cave.

Notes

  • The Scoria Dragon was released on July 19, 2012.
  • The Scoria Dragon's original name was Slag Dragon. This was changed on July 23, 2012 due to the fact that the word "slag" is considered offensive in some languages.
    • The Scoria Dragon is the first dragon to have its name changed.
  • The Scoria Dragon's description hinted towards the possibility of being able to race dragons, days before the Dragon Track was released.
  • Until August 8, 2013, breeding the Scoria Dragon followed the Uncommon Dragons breeding rule.
  • Initially, the Scoria Dragon was available at level 17, but the level availability was changed on October 9, 2013, to level 18.

Possible References

  • The Scoria Dragon's description mentions the Bessemer Wastes, which could be a reference to the Bessemer process, which was the first successful industrial process for mass-producing steel at low costs.
