The Sun Stones started glowing on June 13, 2012. According to the game description, this glow will continue as long as the Solstice Dragon is available. The glow was repeated when the decoration was re-released.
- On June 20, 2012, the actual day of the solstice, an animated beam of solar energy projected upwards from the Sun Stones. The animation stopped on June 21, 2012, at 11:09 UTC.
- On December 21, 2012, the Sun Stones started shooting beams upward again.
The Sun Stones decoration does NOT improve your chances of breeding a Solstice Dragon.
Sun Stones' appearance is based on Stonehenge in the UK.
The description says that the Sun Stones are that of Surya, who is the Hindu god of the sun.
