Part seven: A new day, a new light

1 Week after the war of the three realms...

It was the day of the Funeral. The funeral of all of the killed magicians. Everyone was dressed in black cloaks. People were crying. Everyone placed flowers next to pictures of all of the minor magicians who died. Later a big ceremony took place where the body of Targen was buried in a coffin. Azazel read out a speech:

"Last week many of us were part of an event marking history as a day to remember. Many of us came out fine, many of us came out injured and many came out dead. A shrine will be built in memorial. Now everyone, how about three cheers for all that lost their lives...". Everyone cheered, "Hurray!", and after each cheer a line of 24 magicians shot a flare of magic into the air with their staff. Azazel walked away, while Hunter and Bane Cane walked to the front. "Can I have your attention please?" Hunter said, "We have an announcement to make..." said Bane. "One person has played a very big part in this war. if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have one this war! Azazel, we are promoting you to a member of the Dragon Council!". "What?! Are you serious?! I-I-I don't know what to say! But... I have to turn down your offer...I'm sorry but my position is a Dragon Rider and I can't change that...", " Ok, we accept your decision" said Bane Cane. "I'll tell you what, if you ever need help just... call me!".

Azazels' brother Ghast was given the promotion instead increasing he number of Dragon Council members to 13. Azazel still goes on missions wih his fellow Dragon riders. He managed to breed more Emerald Dragons. Every year he visits the shrine of remembrance and gives flowers. He also, created a new Panlong Army as Targens' was killed.

Azazel will always remain a Dragon Rider until the day he dies as will his friends... The Dragon Riders, mighty and strong they stand. Azazel, Blaze, Seems, Bruin and Katie...
