Hello DragonVale Wiki!
I've recently received several requests from our support system, and people reaching out on chat asking for me to step in and help guide this wiki. There has recently been a ton of arguing between the current admins on the leadership of this wiki.
Staff try not to intervene on wikis. It's important that each wiki looks after its own community and runs itself. But when there are serious issues like this, it becomes necessary for us to step in. Admins and bureaucrats need to work together as a team. One person should not rule over all. In addition, there should not be any discussions of the wiki held behind closed doors. I've been made aware that talks of the wiki's direction and leadership are being discussed off of the wiki or in chat when not everyone is around and that’s just not fair to the rest of the community. This wiki has developed a culture of drama and authoritarian leadership that needs to stop.
The current admin team needs to learn how to work together as a team if this wiki wants to progress.
The best way for us to do that in this case is to stop the rights changes until the wiki is stable. As of today, all bureaucrat rights will be removed from this wiki until the situation stabilizes. There will still be a full admin team, fully able to look after the wiki but no ability to change admin rights without staff agreement for at least the next few months.
We need this wiki to be a stable, friendly place before we can go back to allowing bureaucrats. What that means, is that everyone needs to concentrate on making the wiki a better place, building articles and talking about the game, and not on internal politics and drama. This wiki is a great one, with a really good community - let's go back to building that!
